Rotherham Council has announced a number of temporary traffic orders affecting roads across the borough as works ranging from water main installations to carriageway resurfacing and power line maintenance are undertaken. Among the first closures is Greasbrough Lane in Rawmarsh, which will be closed between Back Lane and Haugh Road from June 1 to June 5 to allow vegetation cutting around power lines. Access to the cemetery will be maintained. A series of temporary road closures, traffic restrictions, and footpath closures are set to affect parts of Rotherham throughout June, July, and beyond as utility, maintenance, and infrastructure works are carried out.
