Rotherham United have strengthened their squad with the signing of former Swindon striker Paul Mullin. The 30-year-old forward has joined the Millers on a two-year deal, following the expiration of his contract at Wrexham. Mullin, who spent the 2017/18 season at Swindon, made 47 appearances in all competitions, scoring 10 goals. He joins Rotherham as their sixth signing of the summer transfer window, following the arrival of Jili Buyabu earlier in the week. The Millers are currently 23rd in League One, with 41 points from 46 games, and have a goal difference of -30. They are 62 points behind leaders Lincoln and will face Port Vale at home on January 9, 2027. Mullin's signing is a significant boost for Rotherham, who are looking to improve their league position this season. The forward has a proven track record, having scored 32 league goals in the 2020/21 season for Cambridge United. He has also played for Tranmere Rovers and Wigan Athletic, and has a reputation for being a clinical finisher. Rotherham also beat Swindon to the signing of winger Aaron Nemane this summer, with the former Milton Keynes Dons man having been picked as a priority target by Ian Holloway.
