Rotherham United has made significant changes to their squad following their relegation to League Two. The Millers finished the season in 23rd place in League One, 11 points adrift of safety, managing only 10 wins throughout the campaign. In a bid to reshape the team, the club has announced the release of 11 players, including Cameron Dawson, Sean Raggett, and Jordan Hugill, among others. Additionally, five players currently on loan will return to their parent clubs as the club looks to rebuild. Despite the departures, club captain Joe Rafferty has triggered an option to extend his contract based on appearances. The Millers are also in discussions with Jack Holmes, Joe Powell, and Josh Ayres regarding their futures. However, decisions on Dru Yearwood and Shaun McWilliams remain pending. With 14 players still under contract, the club is yet to appoint a manager for the upcoming season after Lee Clark's short-term tenure ended on the final day of the season.
